There’s a reason why East Coast Wools has been operating on the East Coast for more than 50 years – we look after our growers.

Maximizing the returns you get for your wool is our primary focus, and the reason we’ve grown into one of the most significant privately owned and independent wool brokers in the country.

We offer wool to a full bench of New Zealand exporters at public auction, by private treaty and at online wool auctions all year round. We’re also the only independent wool broker in Gisborne that can provide New Zealand Wool Testing Authority (NZWA) certification. (IWTO sanctioned)

Everyone on our experienced, hands-on team rolls their sleeves up and works hard. We run a tight ship with minimal overheads to keep your costs down, and you only deal with the people who actually own and run the company (no room for paper shuffling managers in our wool store).

Locally owned and operated (and proud of it), we’re passionate about the East Coast and the people who live and work here. We employ local people, sponsor events that support our rural community, and do our bit to promote the wool industry both here and overseas.
